The rapid development of the West Villages district in North Port, Florida, which added shops, amenities, and approximately 20,000 homes, overwhelmed the City’s existing wastewater system. To address this challenge, Wells Webster was commissioned to design the West Villages Southwest Wastewater Plant, providing a more robust solution to meet the needs of the growing community.

Throughout the design process, Wells Webster collaborated closely with the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). This partnership ensured that the plant was designed efficiently, reducing the time and cost associated with potential future redesigns and minimizing the risk of changes during construction.
