Key updates involve rehabilitating existing flow control structures and undertaking complete demolition and replacement of primary and secondary treatment equipment. The project also includes the construction of new buildings to house the updated infrastructure.

Additional improvements consist of the installation of a new electrical distribution system, the addition of two new emergency power generators, utilities relocation, and the replacement of the stormwater collection system equipment. The project further enhances the site with the installation of new roadways, the replacement of aeration systems with energy-efficient blowers, embankment improvements to meet FEMA requirements, and the construction of a new administration building.
